What better a drink to enjoy on a warm Summer Day – Iced Lemon Tea.
Here’s how to make, if you don’t like or want the lemon just exclude it from the recipe and, of course, the amount of sugar is entirely up to you and your taste preference.
This serves around 6 people, depending how much you fill the glasses!
- Pour 7-8 cups (some will evaporate) of water into a pan and bring to the boil.
- Add 2-3 tea bags (depending on strength and quality of the tea bags) and turn off the heat and leave for about 10 mins or until you are happy with the colour and strength.
- Then add the juice of one whole lemon and 1/2 cup of sugar and stir well until all the sugar has dissolved.
- Allow to cool, then transfer to a jug and cool in the fridge.
Serve with ice and a slice of lemon. Enjoy!
