Mamma Mia | Bring on the Pizza Love

Pizza love.  Just had a to share our home-made pizza’s we made at the weekend.  We’ve massive pizza fans – as you can tell from the very used pizza stone!

Making home-made pizza is so easy and such fun.

Our pizza dough recipe –

  • 350g strong white plain flour
  • 7g easy blend yeast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 fl oz water
How to: mix yeast with the warm water and leave to bubble.  Sift flour into bowl and make a well in the middle – add yeast and water mixture and oil and mix together to form a dough.  Leave in warm place (our airing cupboard) until doubled in size and voila it’s ready to use.
We like ours very thin and always use a pizza stone to cook them.
Toppings: we used tomato and garlic pizza topping, onions, mixed peppers, oil, mozzarella, prosciutto, jalapeno’s, oregano, and olives.
Here’s some pics of the mess! oh and the pizza.  There were more but they got eaten before I could take some photo’s.

  1. These pizza’s look fabulous!!! I’m a big believer in simple home-made pizza’s and can’t tell you the last time we bought a store one. I’m desperate to build a woodfired pizza oven in our backyard!

    1. They were delicious if I may say so myself. I probably should have stated that our pizza’s are never round! We start off rolling but then just end up pulling them to the thickness we like.
